Larisa joined SVA in March of 2013. She holds an AA in Early Childhood Education from Edmonds Community College. Larisa grew up on a small farm with goats, rabbits, chickens, geese, cats and miniature horses where she enjoyed caring for stray and injured wildlife including possums, birds, cats, dogs, raccoons, and squirrels. In her spare time Larisa enjoys listening to music, writing songs, singing with her band and spending time with family. She loves children, pets, warm weather and swimming. Larisa lives with the princess Wilhelmina (Mina for short) a Chiweenie, Hadlee (affectionately known as Chad) the Border collie, and Turt Russell the red eared slider.
Miranda joined Northwest Veterinary Hospital in 2016. She earned a BS in History from Eastern Washington University. Her veterinary interests include meeting new pets and doing her part to make their visits to the vet as stress-free as possible. When she’s not making fuzzy friends, Miranda can be found spending time doing whatever gets her out in the sun– reading or adventuring with her husband. At home she has a box-loving kitty named Joey.
Nikki joined SVA in 2014. Nikki has worked in the animal field since she was 18. She has a passion for taking care of animals and their people. Most of her off time is spent with her husband and two kids, Kaysie and Rylan, as well as her pets. She has 2 dogs; Cami and Ruckus as well as 5 cats; Baby Cat, Bubbles, Izzybella Noche, Jack, Lilo, and Stitch.
Shelby joined SVA in 2015, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Film and Digital Media from Baylor University. Shelby is passionate about veterinary medicine with a particular interest in emergency care. He has a special place in his heart for Great Danes and Scottish folds and looks forward to the day he can share his home with a Great Dane whose name will be Alexander. He also enjoys reading and listening to music.
